6.3.1 Connect the VP-747 to the VP-747T by Wired Connection

To connect the VP-747 to the Kramer VP-747T Presentation Switcher Control Panel

via the 3-pin terminal block connector, as illustrated in

Figure 9, do the following:

• Connect the “A” PIN on the TO CONTROLLER mini XLR connector of the

VP-747 to the A (+) PIN on the RS-485 rear panel port of the VP-747T unit

• Connect the “B” (-) PIN on the TO CONTROLLER mini XLR connector of the

VP-747 to the B (-) PIN on the RS-485 rear panel port of the VP-747T unit

• If shielded twisted pair cable is used, the shield may be connected to the “G”

(Ground) PIN on one of the units

For the best results when working with the T-bar, we recommended

setting PROGRAM and PREVIEW to the same output resolutions
